Calder Valley Skip Hire has taken delivery of eight Hyva skiploaders for its waste management and recycling operations.
The Yorkshire-based firm has ordered five 18-tonne and three 12-tonne DAF 4x2 chassis fitted with Hyva 2012XL and Hyva 20008TA extendable arm lifting gear, respectively.
The 2012XL has a lifting capacity of 12 tonnes when closed and 8 tonnes when extended, while the 2008TA has a maximum load of 8.5 tonnes (closed) and 4.5 tonnes (extended).
"These are the first Hyva vehicles to join our fleet and we are extremely pleased with them," Calder Valley Skip Hire MD Joe Sawrij said.
"We chose Hyva as we believe they are simply the best in the market – we spoke to many people before making our decision and they all pointed us towards Hyva. In operation, we are finding them to be easy-to-use, robust and more than up to the job,” he added.
The Hyva skiploaders also come equipped with Hyva's TRR 'Handy' full remote control system, which features a hand-held remote control module.
