Carefoot steps forward with SDC

Bulk haulier Walter Carefoot & Sons (Transport) has added 14 new tipping trailers from SDC to its fleet.

The Preston-based haulier will use half of the new trailers for moving aggregates, grain and animal feeds within the Trade Assurance Scheme for Combinable Crops part of its business, with the remainder put to work on general haulage duties.

The new trailers feature on-board weighing systems and reversing cameras. Carefoot operations manager Rob Dean said: “We have chosen SDC trailers over the years for the quality, reliability and longevity of their tippers.”
