CargoStop is bringing its wide range of load safety solutions to this summer’s bumper tradeshow, Road Transport Expo (RTX), which takes place from 28-30 June at NAEC Stoneleigh.

The business prides itself on its innovative approach to tackling the often-challenging load control issues that operators face and adopts a collaborative approach to developing relevant safety products.

As a result, the CargoStop product range is constantly evolving and expanding to meet industry needs.

“We want to be challenged by our clients, for them to come to us when they have problems, because we know not only can we solve their issues and develop new products, but these innovations have a wider benefit for the industry as a whole,” said Bevan Barber, sales director at CargoStop.

“What starts out as a bespoke tool for one company, can often be rolled out to market for the benefit of hundreds more.

“That’s what we’re about, making quality and safety a priority for everyone: when clients collaborate with us the industry benefits, and when companies use our products, their staff benefit.”

One such innovation is the company’s ProPole system, a telescopic tool which allows operators to reach heights and perform tasks whilst keeping their feet safely on the ground.

It was developed around the time the industry was struggling to get to grips with working at height regulations.

“Hauliers and cargo companies had found halfway solutions, such as cones and steps, to reduce the risk for operators and drivers when preparing loads,” said Barber.

“We could see this needed to go much further and clients who were already buying from us wanted to know if we had any products that could tackle working at height.”

CargoStop listened to industry feedback and the ProPole attachment range was developed, adding to the company’s growing innovation list.

It sits alongside a wide range of other solutions including ratchet straps and chains, nets, load bars, wheel chocks and edge protection.

Barber added: “For us innovation is the creation of an ever-expanding product range. It is a constant process of development; we have a number of exciting projects in the pipeline that could bring huge benefits to the industry.”
