Carlton Packaging partners with Ryder

Ryder is supplying two Daf LF230 18-tonne curtain-sided day cab trucks, a Daf CF460 6x2 tractor with Space Cab and SDC curtainsider trailer, all on three-year terms to Carlton Packaging.

The new vehicles, which are all leased and come with a full maintenance programme from Ryder, will make deliveries from Carlton’s UK distribution hub in Milton Keynes.

John Murray, Ryder sales and marketing director, said: “Carlton Packaging joins the increasing list of businesses that have realised the benefits of leasing vehicles rather than owning them. Partnering with Ryder allows Carlton to focus on serving its customers.”

The 18-tonners feature bodies that are 4ft longer than those on the operator’s outgoing vehicles, improving the fleet’s capacity and efficiency.
