Carrier Transicold revamps Foretrack system

Carrier Transicold has updated its Foretrack satellite tracking and fleet management system, which now allows operators to directly connect with the individual refrigeration unit microprocessor on each truck or trailer across Europe – previously Carrier's Datacold 500 temperature recorder was required.

Furthermore, it allows monitoring and recording of the set-point, running mode, compartment status, defrost, hour meter data and alarm warnings.

All information can be read by operators in their fleet offices, relating to any of their loads regardless of location.

Data can be accessed via the web in real-time, offering live fleet management of individual trucks and trailers, as well as demonstrating to customers cold-chain load integrity and greater accountability in the preservation of cargo.
