Cartwright Group agrees shareholding purchase from former joint MDs

John and Steven Cartwright, former Cartwright Group joint MDs and currently joint MDs at Tiger Trailers, have sold their 40% stake in S Cartwright & Sons (Coachbuilders) for an undisclosed sum.

The brothers resigned from the Altrincham, Cheshire-based family trailer and body builder on 10 March 2014, a month before launching Tiger Trailers.

Grandson to Stanley Cartwright and cousin to John and Steven, Mark Cartwright became group MD at the trailer and bodybuilder following their departure, with his father Peter Cartwright chairman and his sister Lisa as a fellow director on the board.

A statement released by Cartwright said: “S Cartwright & Sons (Coachbuilders) Limited have agreed with John and Steven Cartwright to acquire their 40% shareholding in the company for an undisclosed sum. No further comment will be made by either party.”
