Cartwright Fleet Services has signed a deal with Isuzu Truck UK in Leeds to become its full sales, service and parts dealer. The company - part of the Cartwright Group - will offer inspections, MoTs, repair and maintenance and new vehicle deliveries at its seven-bay workshop in Garforth, West Yorkshire.

It has made a seven-figure investment in the 5-acre site, including a £200,000 on-site ATF. An extra six workshop bays are due to open this year. The expansion has created 30 jobs at the facility and Cartwright expects to add another 20.

Cartwright Fleet Services director of fleet services Lawrence Todd said the investment will help the company meet demand. “As part of the expanding relationship with Isuzu Truck UK, we will be able to supply and support the complete range of its trucks in a key market region.”

Isuzu Truck UK MD Peter Murphy said Leeds is a key area for the manufacturer as it is close to major motorways. “The appointment of such an experienced provider as our Leeds dealer will ensure that we maximise the potential for the Isuzu brand in an important geographic location.”
