Trailer manufacturer Cartwright will be showcasing its new Lifting Deck Maxi Wedge trailer at this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show. The trailer, which has a modular bolted chassis, uses lightweight composite panels and other lightweight materials and comes in at just 12,600kg, around 1,200kg less than a standard double-deck trailer, according to the manufacturer.

With an overall height of 4,955mm, a coupling height of 1,250mm, and a load security system that can accommodate caged, loose or palletised goods, the boxvan trailer is expected to be of particular interest to parcel carriers, thanks to its high cubic capacity, and to supermarkets for roll cage operations.
