Wolverhampton-based CG Transport is to be wound-up after creditors appointed a liquidator last month.

The operator held an O-licence to run up to eight vehicles from a site in Wednesbury.

Following a creditors meeting last month, liquidator Stephen Powell of HJS Recovery was appointed on 21 March.

He was unavailable for comment.

According to its statement of company affairs, published at Companies House, CG Transport owed creditors a total of £302,405 at the time it entered liquidation.

The majority of the company’s debt, £224,485, was owed in corporation tax, VAT and PAYE to HMRC.

Director Christopher Gough could not be reached for comment.
