Chatfields Daf dealerships in the North are now trading under the Evans Halshaw brand following a rebranding by parent company Pendragon.
The 400 staff across the four sites in Birtley, County Durham; Leeds; Sheffield; and Stockton, Teesside, will remain in place and continue to offer new Daf vehicle sales, used truck and van sales, servicing and 24-hour aftermarket operations.
These sites will provide body, paint and ATF lane services, as well as maintenance and repairs for all commercial vehicle makes.
Evans Halshaw Daf national franchise director Wayne Edwards said the former Chatfields dealerships will benefit from having a Daf used truck and van sales hub on the Evans Halshaw website. “Joining the Evans Halshaw Group will enable us to offer customers a better service with a strengthened digital presence as part of the UK’s largest volume car retailer,” he said.
Meanwhile, Daf has published the ninth edition of its all-makes parts directory for trucks, trailers, workshop consumables and lubricants. The TRP catalogue, which includes 75,000 lines, is available through the Daf dealer network or online at trpparts.com.
Stewart Davies, parts marketing manager at Daf Trucks, said: “Our new TRP catalogue is the most complete parts compendium we’ve ever produced.”
