Chris D Kelly, son of Keltruck founder and sole shareholder Chris Kelly senior, has been appointed chairman of the West Midlands Scania dealership.

Kelly had served as director of the business between 2006 and 2013 and spent five years as the MP for Dudley South, retiring from the House of Commons before the recent election. His father had retired from the business in March 2012.

Managing director and dealer principal Andrew Jamieson said: “Chris is re-joining a company in great shape — the last three years having been the best in our 32-year history. We’re all focused on making Keltruck the best it can possibly be, and that comes from giving our customers the best service. We’ve all got that one goal between us, and we still hold on to the family values that made Keltruck what is it today.”

Kelly added that he was delighted to be working again with Jamieson and the Keltruck team: “They are without doubt the best in the industry and I look forward to being part of the company’s continued success.”
