Citroën C2 receives facelift

Citroën's relentless product replacement cycle continues with a facelift for the smallest van in its portfolio, the C2 Enterprise HDI. The front-end styling gets a makeover, while inside an up-graded audio system with MP3 function and improved air-conditioning is included. Prices stay the same, with a current promotion offering the C2 from £6,995 (ex-VAT and delivery).

TDG says Laxey offer is best for shareholders

TDG has described the £203m formal takeover bid it has received from Laxey Partners as being "in the best interests of shareholders". Under the agreed deal, Laxey is offering TDG shareholders two options - either 250p cash per share, or 200p plus 6.625 shares in the private equity firm's acquisition vehicle LIT.
