CM’s dealer drop-in: C&W Commercials

Wednesbury, West Midlands-based C&W Commercials had an impressive collection of used trucks on its forecourt when CM visited.

The friendly and approachable family-owned business was formed in 2002 and sells used tractor units, tippers, sweepers and skip-loaders from its purpose built 2.5 acre site between Wolverhampton and Birmingham, just off the A41.

One vehicle that caught our eye was a 2012 Daf CF75 6x4 with day cab that produces 310hp and is equipped with Multilift hook-loader equipment and sheeting system. The 12-plate truck, which comes with a manual gearbox and air conditioning, includes an MoT until February 2018.

Also on display was a 2014 Daf CF85.410 8x4 bulk tipper with Space Cab, safety camera system, roof spotlights and fridge. This 14-plate truck has a Harsh electric sheet system, Binotto front end ram and features a PM Onboard weigher and 8-speed manual gearbox. The dealer currently has two other similar tippers on its forecourt.

Another smart vehicle was a 2012 Daf CF85.460 6x2 tractor unit with low height cab. The 12-plate vehicle features a sleeper cab, full air deflector kit, mid-lift twin steer axle and air conditioning.

C&W is offering a good selection of similar trucks all with long MoTs. All vehicles sold come with a full inspection and brake test as well as a three-month driveline warranty with roadside assistance.
