City West Commercials
With used truck displays across the south-west of England, Avonmouth is the flagship, providing a crisp regimental line-up guard of honour into the City West Commercials’ headquarters. The three-pointed star display features are enduring to customers and staff alike. Tim Sutcliffe, Mercedes-Benz’s Used Truck Sales Executive of the Year for 2018, rotates displays in line with marketing to ensure the moment you enter City West Commercials you recognise it is all about the detail, and the purchase of a truck is a very personal one.
Imperial Commercials
Sited on the A458 in an industrialised area of Halesowen in the West Midlands, Imperial Commercials Birmingham occupies a highly visible roadside location with its forecourt front and centre to passing traffic. The Imperial Commercials sales team has fully exploited this, turning the forecourt into a thoughtfully imagined promotional space with well-designed, high-quality signage. Vehicles are immaculately presented, regularly cleaned and with key specification and sales details readily on hand for customers. At any one time the site has a used truck stock-holding of £1.2m.
Mac’s Truck Sales
Representing all key brands, Mac’s Truck Sales seeks to ensure it caters for companies of all sizes and budgets. It believes that its new 4.6-acre, custom-built site in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, has become a real destination within the HGV market. In order to cultivate a clean and tasteful forecourt, Mac’s employs gardeners and roadsweepers to maintain high standards. There is adequate space around the vehicles with designated walkways, so the Mac’s sales team can carry out vehicle demonstrations, where necessary, essential for vehicles with cranes, skip wagons and hook-loaders.
Rygor
Rygor’s Gloucester branch is the product of a £4m investment for the south-west franchise for Mercedes-Benz. The branch was formally opened in 2016 by Gloucester MP Richard Graham, who said: “I had no idea that a building designed to look after vans and trucks could be so stylish and so fantastic.” The MP congratulated Rygor, its architects CP Maybin Architectural Design and builders Rigg Construction, for completing the project on time and under budget. It had, he said, transformed a previously blighted area, creating new job opportunities and giving passersby “something exciting to look at”.
