West Pennine Trucks is the North West’s largest privately owned authorised Scania dealer, providing truck sales, vehicle servicing and R&M services.
The firm, which has dealerships in Knighton, Oswestry, Middleton, Telford and Trafford Park, has a range of facilities including MoT testing, refrigeration and air-con servicing, fabrication, tail-lift and trailer repairs as well as laser alignment.
When CM visited its Stoke-on-Trent depot the dealer had a selection of quality vehicles including a 2014 R580 6x2 V8 Topline Griffin tractor unit (pictured). This 64-plate truck comes with polished alloy wheels, Kelsa bars, sat-nav, roof-mounted air-con pod, low mileage, and the balance of its warranty and service package in place.
Also on the forecourt was a 2010 R440 4x2 Topline tractor unit.The 59-plate truck features 14-speed manual gearbox, Kelsa Hi-bar, roof-mounted air-con pod, low-profile fifth wheel and tyres, as well as air suspension. West Pennine Trucks said it is in excellent condition for its age and it has a similar vehicle available.
There was also a 2015 Scania R450 6x2 Highline tractor unit with 2-pedal Opticruise gearbox. The low-mileage truck includes full manufacturer service history, long MoT and three-month driveline warranty.
