Last week, CM visited Stockport Truck Centre (STC) in Old Moor Road, Bredbury, Cheshire, which has a good selection of quality used, refurbished and new trailers for sale or lease.

All were price on application. There was a repainted 4.5m-high 2007 SDC box trailer with BPW drum brakes and barn doors.

Another trailer, which caught our eye was a 4.1m-high 2011 SDC curtainsider with SAF drum brakes, barn doors and Dhollandia tail-lift (pictured). The trailer has been repainted, and has new curtains.

There was also a 4.7m-high 2013 Montracon curtain-sided trailer with BPW drum brakes and barn doors. STC carries out modifications, repairs and refurbishments at its in-house body repair centre in Bredbury and provides tachograph services as well as 24-hour breakdown and recovery.

Its Hyde depot has a next-generation testing station with ATF lane, 97% first-time MoT pass rate and the ability to provide short notice and flexible appointments. With sites in Birkenhead, Haydock and Atherton, it offers finance through its various partners and welcomes part-exchanges.
