Continental has upgraded its Conti Hybrid HT3 truck tyre range to include better all-weather performance, gaining the important 3PMSF (Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake) marking on its sidewall.

The new Conti Hybrid HT3+ trailer tyre joins the Hyrbid HS3+ for steering axles in Continental’s line-up for regional transport heavy goods vehicles.

It has been redesigned with new groove geometry and improved pocket sipes to improve wet grip and also to provide better performance in cold and wintry conditions. The new tread design is also said to ensure outstanding mileage as well.

“The new Conti Hybrid HT3+ represents the logical next step for heavy-duty transport,” remarks Hinnerk Kaiser, head of product development bus and truck tyres at Continental.

“The Hybrid line is renowned for its combination of long service life and outstanding fuel efficiency. This maximises cost effectiveness for fleet operators – and can now do so 365 days a year thanks to the 3PMSF rating.”

The new Conti Hybrid HT3+ will be available in the following sizes:

  • 385/65 R 22.5 164K (158L)
  • 385/55 R 22.5 160K (158L)
  •  385/55 R 19.5 156/J

Continental will be exhibiting at Road Transport Expo at NAEC Stoneleigh (30 June to 2 July). Register now for FREE
