Contract Services adds MAN TGS 6x2 rigid to fleet

MAN has supplied Northern Ireland-based drain cleaning specialist Contract Services with a TGS 26.500 6x2 rigid.

The vehicle, which comes with day cab, features a 16-speed manual gearbox and bespoke drain cleaning equipment. Director Patrick McKenna said the Dungannon-based firm expects to get six or seven years of service from the truck.

“We had an MAN that needed replacing and when we looked at all the different specs and offerings, it was the MAN that offered the best PTO for the job”, he said.

 “It has been fitted out in Germany with specialist drain cleaning equipment that allows it to recycle the water from the drains to continue the cleaning process.”
