Convoy truck shows at Donington Park and Pembrey will be cancelled this year, in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“Your safety is always going to be our top priority and it’s for that reason and with heavy hearts, we are calling off this year’s Convoy events,” said Road Transport Media divisional director Vic Bunby. “Things had been looking positive for a couple of weeks, but with the recent rise in Covid-19 cases, local lockdowns and restrictions, we just can’t promise to deliver the kind of show you deserve.”

Those people who have booked in show trucks will be issued with a full refund within the next 14 days. All visitor ticketholders – so those with day tickets, weekend or camping tickets – will be contacted directly by MSV. The British Truck Racing Championship racing is set to continue at Donington Park on the weekend of 22 and 23 August, and under current guidelines spectators will be welcome. Please visit for tickets.

“But there is light at the end of the tunnel,” said Bunby.” We are already planning a bigger and better truck bonanza for all three of our Convoys in 2021 – Convoy On The Plain, Convoy In The Park and Convoy Cymru, and we’ll be announcing dates for those as soon as we can.”
