Iveco main dealer CFS Glasgow has appointed Steph Cribbin as its new dealer principal.

Cribbin has spent much of his career with Iveco in various roles, including used vehicle director and commercial controller, as well as spending seven years as chief financial officer for Iveco UK and Ireland. Before joining CFS Glasgow, he was a self-employed consultant at Cribbcom.

Cribbin, who will have responsibility for CFS’s operations, will be based at its headquarters at Springhill Park, Glasgow. He said: “It is an exciting opportunity to be joining CFS Glasgow at a time when it is expanding.

“There is a large market out there and my objective will be to position the dealership as a market leader in terms of Iveco dealerships and standards.” The dealer provides the full range of vehicles from 3.5- to 44-tonners.

Last October, CFS, which is owned by the Cartwright Group, bought Glasgow Iveco dealer Kerr & Smith, with one of the aims being to take a larger share of the vehicle leasing and contract hire market in the West of Scotland.

CFS, which has a network of 142 service agents across the UK, manages more than 12,000 assets, has five workshops and 50 mobile technicians.
