Crick Trailer Sales is to showcase a specialist sliding bogie Dennison tipper trailer at Tip-ex next month.
The 30-yard Hardox steel-bodied trailer is claimed to offer better stability and manoeuvrability over an 8x4 tipper in tight spaces. With the trailer in the shortened position it gives a reduced wheelbase to the kingpin of 7m, which is roughly the same as an 8x4 tipper.
The trailer is fitted with a Hyva tilt ram, Shur-Co automatic sheeting system, VWS weighing system, Saf 9-tonne offroad axles and suspension, anti-tipping valve and alloy wheels.
The trailer also has the capacity for a 28.5-tonne payload.
Visitors to Crick Trailer Sales’ stands – ML7, ML8 and C68 – will hear about the company’s two year rental package, which it says will enable customers to trial the trailer to see if it is right for their operation, with an option to buy it at the end of the period.
