Crick Trailer Sales had a new Dennison tri-axle insulated alloy sliding bogie tipper trailer, (pictured), for sale when we visited its premises in Rugby, Warwickshire.
According to Crick, it offers better manoeuvrability than an 8x4 rigid and includes a Hardox steel body, alloy wheels, SAF off-road axles, Hyva tilt ram and VWS weighing system. It has a payload of up to 29.5 tonnes. Sales manager Scott Pagano told CM: “This trailer is ideal for the haulier that needs to make the job safer and more profitable.”
There was also a new Dennison drop frame tri-axle trombone trailer, above, with outriggers, twist locks, wide load pull-out marker boards, a short beavertail, ramps, BPW axles and suspension. Pagano said: “The trailer is well suited for the general haulier who requires a trailer with the versatility to move vehicles, plant, mixed containers or just pallets.”
Finally, we saw a new Dennison drop frame tri-axle extending tractor carrier with lifting deck on the neck, above, that can carry three 6-wheel tractor units. It extends from 13.6m to 15.9m, has a long beavertail, BPW axles and suspension with rear-lift axle, pull-out ramps stowed under the beavertail, and Keruing flooring.
“With wheel wells in the top deck it can carry taller cabs. This trailer is designed for all types of vehicles, cars, vans, trucks and tractors,” Pagano explained. Prices are on application and demonstrators are available.
