Ryder is continuing its drive into Scotland with a deal to supply Glasgow-based Cullen Packaging with a replacement Daf tractor unit and SDC curtainside trailer.

Robin White, Ryder sales and marketing director, said Cullen Packaging is one of an increasing number of Scottish companies taking up Ryder’s contract hire packages.

Ryan Kelly, Cullen production director, said: “Ryder supplies us with the right vehicles, with a high level of service, at a competitive price. The out-of-hours servicing means the uptime of our fleet is maximised. Ryder’s proactive approach to compliance is also important to us."

Cullen, which has partnered with Ryder for the past six years, operates four trucks and trailers which deliver to customers across the UK, clocking up annual mileages of 100,000km.
