Owen Green has joined the sales team at Wednesbury, West Midlands-based used truck dealer C&W Commercials.
Green, who entered the industry in 1981 as an HGV apprentice mechanic, started his sales career in 1988 and spent 20 years working for Volvo Trucks as well as a Volvo Truck franchised dealer. For the past three-and-a-half years he has run the Volvo Economy used sales site in Coventry.
He said: “I am excited to have joined C&W Commercials, a strong family-run business with a great name in the industry.”
Last August, C&W moved to its 2.5-acre, purpose-built site for used truck sales and Warren Cole, MD (left) and founder of the firm, said the new site has helped sales figures exceed 450 a year. “This appointment shows we are committed in our continued expansion plans,” he added.
