Used truck of the week is one of a selection of DAF CF85.400 tippers available from Livingston-based tipper, crane-mounted truck and hook-loader specialist MV Commercial.
The 17- and 67-plate 32-tonners, available for hire and sale, have just returned from work at East Midlands Haulage. They feature Thompsons bodies with Easysheet sheeting systems, Binotto rams, cab sun visors, multi-function steering wheels, MX engine brakes and 360-degree rotating beacons.
There are nine units available, and MV Commercial said they are in “immaculate condition and ready to go to work today”. MV Commercial, which has been trading since 2001, provides its own de-fleeted vehicles for sale as well as a range of late-registered, low-mileage specialist commercial and part exchange vehicles.
It has more than 100 large crane trucks for sale or hire at any given time and supplies flatbed, cheese wedge, beavertail and cabin spec bodies fitted with Palfinger or Cormach heavy-duty cranes. The company, which attended the 2018 Tip-ex show in Harrogate earlier this month, said business has been strong during the first half of the year, particularly in its 1,450 vehicle strong rental division, where it expects to see a substantial year-on-year growth by the end of the year.
Sales director David Patrick said: “We went to Tip-ex to tell people what we do. We have a huge following of customers who know who we are, however we are always looking to meet new people.”
