Daf dealer Brian Currie has opened an all-makes truck and trailer parts shop at its customer Freightroute’s site.
The dealer spent £240,000 refurbishing the 3,400ft2 site. Brian Currie Truck and Trailer Parts, based at Chowns Mill Business Park, Irthlingborough, includes a TRP-branded shop, offices and a parts warehouse, as well as two new delivery vans.
The company has appointed two new parts advisers and two delivery drivers, and there will be a dedicated parts sales executive. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5.30pm as well as Saturday 8am to 12.30pm.
Andy Horne, parts sales manager at Brian Currie Truck and Trailer Parts, said: “We have made this substantial investment to improve the level of service to customers in the area. Our new TRP Shop demonstrates a significant aftersales commitment to Daf operators and to a wider customer base.
"Operators with any fleet make-up can see we’re serious about our trailer and all-makes parts offering - including on-demand parts deliveries to the local area for stock items and a daily parts delivery service supported by our other depots.”
The Northamptonshire site supplements the dealer’s existing parts and service locations in Milton Keynes, Bedford and Northampton. TRP is Daf’s all-makes truck and trailer parts offering, available across the company’s dealer network, and through dedicated TRP shops.
