Andy Fish has been appointed general manager at Daf dealer Ford and Slater’s Peterborough branch.

Fish joined the dealership’s Leicester depot as an HGV technician apprentice in July 1989 and in 2006 moved to its Coventry site to become workshop manager. He was promoted to service manager the following year and then depot manager in 2014.

The opportunity at Peterborough came up following the retirement of its director and dealer principal, Bill Prosser.

Fish said: “It’s a fantastic opportunity and challenge to take up the role at Peterborough which is the second largest Ford and Slater dealership. “I’m looking forward to working with my new colleagues at Peterborough and I’m ready for the next chapter in my career.”
