DAF marks 300,000th repair and maintenance contract

The Polish company PC Logistics has signed the 300,000th DAF MultiSupport repair and maintenance contract for its new DAF XG 480. The vehicle joins the company’s fleet along with 15 identical tractor units which will move liquid raw materials across Western Europe. 

Konrad Wójtowicz, CEO of PC Logistics said: “Our most important purchase criteria for a truck are total cost of ownership, driver comfort and safety. Furthermore, our trucks – regardless of their location in Europe – are well-maintained and benefit from maximum uptime. DAF’s tailor-made repair and maintenance service contract allows us to focus on our core business.”

 MultiSupport contracts are designed with the customer to tailor service level and contractual terms to suit the fleet. The agreement sees local DAF dealers look after maintenance planning and administration to ease the load for hauliers. The benefit of a MultiSupport contract is a fixed price per kilometre. 

 Operators can choose from four service packages depending on the level of service required. The packages range from preventive maintenance to coverage of all repair and maintenance requirements. PC Logistics opted for a five year DAF MultiSupport full care contract.

 To mark the occasion Monika Prościńska, DAF Trucks Poland sales manager; Bartosz Gruszczyński, DAF Trucks Poland service and commercial services manager; and Agnieszka Kuśmierz, DAF Trucks Poland commercial services manager presented a framed 300,000th contract to Konrad Wójtowicz, CEO PC Logistics.
