Daf Trucks UK MD Ray Ashworth to retire

Ray Ashworth, Daf Trucks UK MD, is to retire and will be replaced by Robin Easton.

Easton (below) is currently MD of the India division of Daf parent Paccar and will take over the role on 2 April. He began his career at Paccar in 2004 and has held his current position for two years.

Ashworth, who has been in the industry for 48 years, has been MD at the truck manufacturer since March 2009. He was formerly fleet sales director.

Ashworth is due to leave the company on 26 May.
