Foodservice supplier DBC has landed a £2.5m-a-year supply contract with Notcutts Garden Centre group.
DBC, which has a fleet of 230 multi-temperature delivery vehicles, will supply 18 Notcutts sites with frozen, chilled, fresh meat and produce, as well as dairy products.
The foodservice provider was awarded its deal through Equinoxe Solutions, which handles purchasing duties for clients in the catering industry.
Chris Horne, MD at DBC, says: "Notcutts wanted to consolidate its food offering, deal with just one trusted supplier and reduce deliveries to streamline the business.
"This is exactly what DBC has been able to offer, so we are extremely pleased to enter into this sole supplier contract, providing over 700 product lines, which will offer Notcutts significant savings and efficiencies."
