On our visit HLL Davies had a large quantity of 2010 Lawrence David curtainsiders with BPW drum brakes ready for delivery at its 6-acre site. Each of the trailers has a pillarless body for easy side loading, with an overall running height of 4.47m giving a side-loading height of 2.9m.
Flush rear doors provide an excellent surface on which operators can advertise. Each of this line of stock has had just one previous owner and been subject to a thorough maintenance programme.
We discovered that all trailers supplied by our hosts come with an MoT, the length of it depending on each trailer. Through its selected local vendor partners and suppliers HLL Davies also offers a refurbishment facility that includes full shotblasting and painting as well as conversion and modification.
HLL Davies will supply the trailers with repainted front and rear elevations, repainted wheels and new curtains in the operator’s colour, including reflective conspicuity markings. It carries up to 250 trailers and 50 trucks, and can offer flexible finance packages and part-exchange deals.
For those who fancy a visit, the site is open Monday to Friday from 8am until 5pm and equipment can be viewed at weekends on request.
