Dealer drop-in: West Pennine Trucks

Scania dealer West Pennine Trucks has a selection of quality trucks at its Middleton, Greater Manchester, branch this week including an R400 8x2 curtainsider with Moffett Mounty truck-mounted forklift truck. The 61-plate vehicle with Highline twin sleeper cab, generates 400hp, has a 14-speed manual gearbox, front twin-steer and rear-lift/steer axles and twin alloy fuel tanks.

It features traction control, cruise control, axle load indicator, a full air deflector kit and Kelsa top bar. The vehicle has 499,000km on the clock, a new MoT and three-month driveline warranty.

The dealer also has a Scania R440 6x2/2 Highline for £19,000 plus VAT. The 61-plate truck includes the two-pedal Opticruise gearbox, traction control, twin alloy fuel tanks, fixed fifth wheel, twin sleeper nearly flat floor cab, enhanced air deflector kit and cruise control. It has a full Scania service history, MoT, 12-month driveline warranty and mileage of 659,000km.

Also for sale is a Scania R450 6x2/2 Streamline with twin sleeper cab. The 64-plate vehicle has a two-pedal Opticruise gearbox, twin aluminium fuel tanks, sliding fifth wheel and traction control. It comes with an air deflector kit, cruise control and pull-out lower bunk. The truck, which has clocked up 185,000km, is MoT’d until September 2017 and comes with a 12-month driveline warranty.
