DHL Exel jobs threatened at Banbury depot

More than 80 jobs are under threat at DHL Exel Supply Chain's Banbury depot because a contract with Kraft Foods is being switched to .

The company is in consultation with staff and the TGWU. Those involved are being offered transfer to , re-deployment to other depots or redundancy. A TGWU spokesman says: "For us this is not all that contentious. Most of the drivers are opting to take redundancy." The TGWU says that 27 of the 85 jobs under threat are drivers.
