DHL Supply Chain has won a £500,000 warehousing contract with Bloch, which will support the transport agreement already in place between the dancewear wholesaler and DHL Express.

By moving to one provider for both its warehousing and distribution operations, Bloch expects its service to become more flexible and simplified.

The three-year contract will be fulfilled at DHL's Radlett, Hertfordshire site and both of its divisions say they can work together to boost productivity and service levels, and shorten communication channels.

"The fact that we now have both aspects of our logistics operation provided by DHL has simplified the way we do business," says Bloch Europe general manager Bill Taylor.

DHL Express has distributed to stores in the UK and Europe on behalf of Bloch since 2009.
