Truck Door Windows will be attending the Road Transport Expo next month with its range of lower passenger-side windows to boost a driver's direct vision from the cab, alongside other fleet safety equipment.
The company is part of the Truck Align London group, which offers truck repair and refurbishment services along with vehicle access solutions.
In preparation for the new Transport for London Direct Vision Standard (DVS) phase 2 requirements, Truck Door Windows also supplies progressive safe systems to help operators comply with the tighter safety rules.
Full DVS-compliant kits are available from £2,000, which is the company’s basic compliance kit including fitting. Upgraded 'Better' and 'Best' kits include a 2TB HDDR and/or direct streaming from £3,400 to £3,500.
Truck Align London said it is the largest manufacturer of CLOCS and FORS nearside truck door windows.
For operators that would prefer to install their own truck door windows, Truck Door Window provides kits and can offer training and installation templates.
The company estimates that one person can fit approximately three door windows per day.
Installation options are flexible to suit business requirements. Truck Door Window can collect and deliver a vehicle’s door for a small charge to fit the window. Alternatively, the truck can be collected and returned with the new window installed.
Road Transport Expo takes place from 4-6 June at NAEC Stoneleigh in Warwickshire. It is completely free to attend for visitors, so why not book your place today?!
