Daf has added Tamworth-based ADR and pet-reg specialist DW Commercials to its dealer network.
Located close to the Kingsbury oil terminal in Warwickshire, the DW Commercials partnership means Daf now has 17 UK and Ireland dealer sites close to primary oil refineries and distribution hubs. DW Commercials recently refurbished its site in Dosthill, including a full upgrade of ADR and pet-reg equipment and newly installed full-length commercial vehicle bays.
It employs 10 members of staff, has a five-bay workshop and will provide services for hazardous goods operators. Dealer principal Daryl Winyard said: “We are a family-run business with a deep understanding of the local truck community.
"Now, with the backing of Daf, and with pet-reg and ADR expertise on-site, we can provide the highest levels of aftersales support to hazardous goods operators. Although we have our own customer base, we have enjoyed an excellent relationship with Greenhous Daf, which has helped us develop our reputation with the local Daf operating community.”
Winyard and his wife Kate started DW Commercials as a mobile commercial vehicle repair service in 2006. It became an independent workshop in 2009 before moving to its current site in 2012.
