Volvo Truck and Bus North and Scotland’s Aberdeen depot has supplied Dyce Carriers with 13 FH-500 trucks.
All 13 FHs are Globetrotter XL cabs equipped with Volvo D13K 500hp engines, I-Shift automated gearboxes and ADR specifications.The order includes a dozen 6x2 tractor units and a specialised 8x2 rigid fitted with a Fassi 820 crane and drawbar trailer capability.
Extra safety equipment includes a front-facing camera and an audible left-turn warning device. The trucks also come with leather seats and a refrigerator. Dyce Carriers has depots in Fife and Dorset and runs just fewer than 70 vehicles, the majority of them Volvos.
