Eberspächer UK is putting the emphasis on driver comfort with a stand dedicated to its air conditioning and heaters technology (5D70).

The company is showcasing its ‘Generation 2’ range of airtronic heaters – the D2L and D4L – alongside its Easystart Pro control switch. There are also new evaporators for air-conditioning systems in the shape of the EV10000 – which is replacing the EV510. Its 24v brushless blower increases service life in tough environments and the unit has an injection-moulded casing, which allows alternative outlet panel configurations to be easily fitted.

Also on display is the EV7000, launched at the end of 2018, designed to fit the very narrow space available above the driver and will find many applications in an increasing number of vehicles with reduced space availability.

Meanwhile, due to increased business from the refrigerated and temperature-controlled vehicle market, Eberspächer UK has increased it footprint, with an additional stand (3A79) within the Cool Zone area in hall 3. It shares the space with specialist ‘coldtainer’ dealer and refrigeration engineers, David Brett Solutions, and is using it to show off a selection of its temperature-controlled, mobile refrigeration containers.

Coming in the second quarter of this year is the Hot Meal Line, designed to maintain the temperature of hot food (above 65C) during transport, storage and serving for the whole day.

Eberspächer UK said that the self-powered units are the only available product in the market to guarantee the temperature during transit and transport without any external power source.

Also available, and designed to fit MAN TGX and TGA models with XLX cab and MAN spoiler requiring no additional modifications, is the new Cooltronic G2.5 1000 Slim – a standalone parking cooler for short or long run-time without having to start the truck’s engine.
