Schmitz Cargobull has appointed Evans Halshaw as an authorised UK repairer for its semi-trailers, combination trailers and truck bodies.
The firm’s four DAF depots - in Sheffield, Birtley, Leeds and Stockton - will carry out trailer servicing, inspections, R&M, MoTs, electrical diagnosis, warranty work, sales of genuine Schmitz Cargobull parts, as well as body repairs.
Wayne Edwards, national franchise director for Evans Halshaw Trucks, said the agreement also includes attending roadside breakdowns. “We’re thrilled to have been given this accreditation as the first truck dealer group in the UK authorised to carry out Schmitz Cargobull work,” he added.
