A haulage company, which was formed after five companies in the same group had their licences revoked, has been launched with a new management team.
The Haulage (Holdings) Organisation was granted an interim O-licence for 74 vehicles and 71 trailers by senior traffic commissioner Beverley Bell in February after five sister companies, all part of the Leo Group, had their licences revoked for a number of offences including drivers’ hours.
It has been operating for two months under new management, with ex-Eddie Stobart operations director Peter Kelly as MD.
It is looking for 15 to 20 HGV drivers for its sites in Halifax and Carlisle.
