Expect Distribution is MT's Haulier of the Year

Expect Distribution has won the prestigious title of Haulier of the Year at the Motor Transport Awards.

The Halifax-based transport firm saw off formidable competition from firms such as Framptons Transport Services, Freightliner and Maritime Transport to win the award on Wednesday night.

Haulier of the Year is one of fourteen closely-fought categories in the Motor Transport Awards: here is a full list of the winners and runners-up.

Ray Smith Group launches new up-and-over tail-lift

The Ray Smith Group has launched Easyloader, a unique up-and-over electric tail-lift for panel vans. The platform measures 1.3m wide by 1.5m long, and is capable of lifting 400kg.
