Fagan & Whalley has adopted Microlise telematics and camera systems across its 170 HGV fleet.

The Lancashire-based haulier, which has switched from another supplier, said Microlise’s multicamera system will enable it to download footage online and view it alongside vehicle telemetry and safety information.

A remote digital tachograph download capability will make it easier for the company to collect tachograph data, removing the need to manually collect drivers’ hours information from each truck.

Also, Fagan & Whalley’s Microlise package will provide information about events immediately before and after any incident including throttle engagement, cornering and acceleration metrics, as well as braking and cruise control.
