FAW Jiefang J7 crowned Chinese Truck of the Year 2019

The FAW Jiefang J7 has been crowned Chinese Truck of the Year 2019. The jury, a spin-off of the International Truck of the Year, concluded that the J7 measures up to European standards in terms of design, safety, comfort and production processes, and sets a new benchmark for the Chinese truck market. The 6x4 tractor unit, which was developed in-house, uses a Euro-5 550hp 12.5-litre engine, matched to a 12-speed manual gearbox.
