Fiat will extend its product range with the launch of a new purpose-built car-derived van next year. Built in Turkey by Tofas, the Mini Cargo will be a joint venture between Fiat, Citroën and Peugeot. Specification is yet to be announced, but it is believed that the van will be based on the new Fiat Punto, and that all three versions will share the same driveline. Meanwhile, an LCV version of the Fiat Grande Punto passenger car (pictured) will be launched this summer. Fiat predicts UK sales of just a couple of hundred units per annum.
