Wincanton has partnered with recycling compliance scheme providers Valpak to offer a service package for the impending Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) regulations.

The partnership, in place from last week, means that Valpak can offer compliance management alongside Wincanton's transport and treatment solutions. Both companies have a "large set of common clients," Valpak chief executive officer Steve Gough tells Motor Transport, which the partnership will initially target. "By each party sticking to what they're good at, it will be a good and fruitful partnership," he says.

Valpak does confirm that the partnership is not exclusive.
