P&H retrofits Siemens VDO digital tachos
P&H Snacksdirect has had the bulk of its 180-strong 7.5-tonne truck fleet retrofitted with Siemens VDO digital tachographs. The Sheffield-based company had previously used the mobile shop exemption in the Drivers' Hours Rules, which allowed the drivers to manually enter their hours in log books. However, changes in the law meant the fleet needed to be equipped with tachographs by the end of 2007.

Ceva to manage MAN logistics centre
Supply-chain provider Ceva Logistics has signed an agreement to manage the Swindon European Logistics Centre on behalf of MAN. As part of this, it will be responsible for daily delivery of parts and stock orders.
