Ford and Slater opens tacho calibration centre

Daf dealer Ford and Slater has introduced a DVSA approved tachograph calibration centre at its Wisbech branch as part of a £250,000 refurbishment.

Last November, the Cambridgeshire facility opened an authorised testing facility lane alongside existing Class 4 and 7 MoT testing services. The site has also brought in extended opening hours of 6am to 10pm Monday to Friday, and 6am to 12pm on Saturdays.

Wisbech dealer principal Keith Spurway said: “Across the Ford and Slater group we pride ourselves on offering customers a complete transport solution.That’s why we continually invest in our facilities in order to offer industry leading back-up and services to our customers.”
