Newark-based DL Rogers Transport has taken delivery of five new generation DAF XF480s with Super Space cabs from Ford and Slater’s King’s Lynn branch.

The company, which operates a mixed fleet of 40 trucks mainly for the construction industry, placed the order after seeing the launch of the updated XF at the CV Show. They come with full R&M packages from the dealer.

Operations manager, Simon Foster, said: “We have been purchasing trucks from Ford and Slater for around 13 years now, and have developed a strong and long-lasting relationship with members of their sales team.

“We like to keep a modern, up-to-date fleet and due to the relationship we have with Ford and Slater and how happy our drivers are with DAF trucks, we knew where to go for a good investment.

“We were already looking to replace some older vehicles when we were invited to attend the CV Show by Ford and Slater, so the timing couldn’t have been more perfect.”
