Ford has launched the new Ford Trucks F-Line distribution truck in Turkey to go on sale alongside the Ford Trucks F-Max.

Available as a 4x2 tractor unit, 6x2 rigid or as an eight-wheeler,  the F-Line features connected vehicle technologies, advanced safety features and a modern design. The range focuses on maximum efficiency, uptime and performance.

Emrah Duman, Ford Trucks leader, said: "As Ford Trucks, we will continue to offer our customers performance and new-generation technologies. Our success in Türkiye and all other international markets grows year after year. We will continue to propel our brand forward by innovating in our product portfolio and the technologies we offer.

“With the new F-Line series, which was built in response to consumer feedback, we offer innovations that increase both comfort and vehicle performance. We provide our customers a more comfortable driving experience with connected vehicle technology and enhanced safety technologies. As Ford Trucks, we will continue to create efficiency and offer performance and cutting-edge technologies to our customers.”

The F-Line series features ConnecTruck so operators can connect to their vehicle via a web portal or mobile device. The monitoring software can give live updates on vehicle location and data and access to previous usage records. This system allows for remote diagnostics and predictive algorithms are used to anticipate maintenance issues before they result in downtime.

Inspired by the F-Max, the interior design includes a 9-inch multimedia display and a new steering wheel. Safety features include blind spot information system, reversing camera, traffic sign recognition, tyre pressure monitoring, emergency stop signal, and alcohol interlock preparation. It also features collision assist with pedestrian detection, intelligent adaptive cruise control, automatic high beam assist, and lane departure warning.

Alongside the F-Line launch, Ford Trucks unveiled the F-Max Select, a limited edition run of just 400 units. This version will feature different design details, advanced technology and improved comfort.

There are currently no plans to sell the F-Line or F-Max in the UK.
