Former Foden regional sales exec John Ormandy dies, aged 84

CM is sad to report the sudden passing of ex-Foden regional sales executive John Ormandy, aged 84. John, a family man with a surviving daughter Justine, was Fodens’ regional sales executive for southern England. He was a man of great integrity and many of his sales were repeat orders.

Stephen Mills, MD of Taurus Waste, is a case in point: “I’ll always be grateful to John for his help in our purchases of Fodens to get Taurus started,” he said. “I knew him from his dealings with A&J Bull. Not only was he very knowledgeable of the product, but he believed in it too.”

During retirement, John was still involved with the Foden Society and various internet groups where he became the ‘go to’ man when information from years back was requested, needing John to dip into his encyclopaedic knowledge of Sandbach’s finest.

Always willing to help, he will be sorely missed by many.
